Overview
Tango Line: Dance Practice is a private practice journal for Argentine tango students. The main app experience is designed to work without accounts, public profiles, social feeds, or a map.
Information You Enter in the App
You may enter practice sessions, lesson notes, milonga or solo training notes, skill tags, partner notes, teacher or place names, reference links, energy ratings, confidence ratings, reminder preferences, and related private journal content.
This information is used to show your practice history, build your Next Practice focus list, organize skills and partner notes, and keep lightweight insights such as streaks and recurring themes.
Local-First Storage
The main app experience stores your journal content on your device. Tango Line does not require an account and does not provide public profiles or public sharing.
If you delete the app or clear app data from your device, locally stored app content may be deleted. Your device operating system may also include its own backup and restore behavior depending on your device settings.
Reference Links and Attachments
The app may let you save reference links related to a practice entry, such as teacher-provided videos or playlist links. Opening a saved external link may take you to another service with its own privacy practices.
Tango Line does not upload media attachments in the current version. If media attachment features are added later, this policy will be updated to describe how those files are handled.
Partner Notes
Partner notes are intended to be private, respectful notes for your own memory. Do not use the app to store harmful, unlawful, or unnecessarily sensitive information about another person.
Support Requests
The Support Form is available in a regular browser and does not require an account or sign-in. If you submit the form, we collect the topic, message, optional contact details you provide, and basic technical metadata such as page URL, referrer, browser user agent, status, and submission time.
Support requests are stored for later review. Please do not include passwords, payment information, health records, or other highly sensitive personal information in support messages.
Accounts, Payments, Analytics, and Advertising
Tango Line does not include user accounts, subscriptions, in-app payments, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash reporting SDKs, or cloud sync for the main journal content in the current version. If those features are added later, this policy will be updated before they are made available.
Children's Privacy
Tango Line is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the app or support page.
Data Deletion
You can delete locally stored app content by deleting the relevant entries in the app where available, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app. To ask about a submitted support request, use the Support Form and include enough context for us to identify the request.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes or when legal or operational requirements change. The effective date above shows when this version took effect.
